Sample Schedule
A typical eleven-day trip, built around service, worship, and the relationships that change everything.
Welcome to Nairobi. Meet the ByGrace team, tour the Children's Home, and meet the kids who will change your life. Orientation dinner and devotional to set the tone for the week ahead.
Serve in the school, Children's Home, and community. Paint, teach, mentor, lead worship, and build relationships with children and staff who will stay with you long after you return home.
Join our staff for a day in the surrounding community, food distribution, door-to-door prayer, and outreach with the Teen Mothers Program.
Attend Sunday service and preach, lead worship, or share your testimony in one of our two congregations. Experience the joy of the ByGrace Church family.
Extended work with schools, churches, or specific projects. This is where the deepest bonds are formed, between team members and between your team and the ByGrace family.
A celebration dinner with children and staff. Time to reflect, pray, and say farewell, knowing you will carry these people in your heart, and return.
What to Expect
From the work to the welcome, here is what your week in Kenya holds.
Hands-on work that meets real needs, from classroom painting and teaching to garden projects and community outreach. Every task matters.
Kenyan hospitality, food, music, and traditions. You'll leave with a richer understanding of the world, and a heart expanded by people you'll never forget.
Daily devotions, worship, and evening debriefs. Many participants say a ByGrace trip was the most spiritually formative week of their adult life.
Secure lodging in vetted facilities, experienced local guides, health protocols, 24/7 emergency support, and an experienced mission team throughout.
Your cost covers all in-country lodging, meals, transport, and program fees. International airfare is excluded and arranged individually.
Upon registration, you'll receive a full preparation guide: packing list, visa information, health requirements, fundraising tips, and pre-trip training.

My trip to ByGrace was life-changing. I went to serve but left with a fuller heart. The children have so much joy, it permanently shifted how I see my own life and what I'm called to do with it.
We painted walls, but the real work was building bridges of love. Our whole team came back as different people. Three of us are now monthly sponsors. One is planning to return for six months.
